[WIP] Tree

I haven't posted anything here in quite a while. Never really shown much of my art work to the public. Anywho, I just recently got back into pixel art and as for practice, I decided to try something I've never done before. So I went ahead and started working on a nice tree. I've been at it for a few hours now..I've been doing a little research on how to do stuff. Anywho, here's the tree:

Reeex	I'm liking the way its looking, good job so far. But on the trunk, many of your darker colors blend in too much, and you loose a lot of detail, it would help if you threw in some contrast. But I like the detail in the leaves thus far. ;)

Are you sure your monitor is calibrated correctly? I can see the trunk clearly, it's quite detailed.

This sprite is very good, rivaling some of the professional artwork you see on Gameboy games. Please be sure to include a shadow with the finished product. =)
