BYOND isn't launching

So, I am trying to launch BYOND. It stops loading when showing "loading game information". I tried reinstalling game and reloading computer, it isn't working. Is there a way to help it?

This is most often caused by BYOND's user data directory (which defaults to Documents\BYOND) being mounted in OneDrive or on some kind of network share. If you remove it from OneDrive, the problem might go away.

Another option is to change your user directory via the registry editor.

1) First make sure the BYOND pager is closed by going to Task Manager and looking for byond.exe in the details tab. Close it if it's there.
2) Create a new directory on your system, like C:\BYOND.
3) Type "regedit" in the Windows start menu.
4) Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Dantom\BYOND.
5) Edit the value called "userpath" and change it to the path for the new directory you created.
