Anyone heard anything from ExPixel? Doesn't look like Forum_account is still working on Tiny Heroes, so the only other think to look forward to here was JMIDE, but it seems like his last post was Feb 28.

Tell me this was not discontinued as well. If so, I may just have to go cry in a corner.
Cry.
It's not discontinued, as far as I can tell. He's probably just temporarily demotivated to work on it.
I started working on something else, but I'm not sure what direction to go in with that. I also started working on Exordium & Terminus again. The version that's currently available is broken (despite the BYOND staff's incredible concern about backwards compatibility). I wanted to get a working version posted but I've ended up making a lot of changes.

Please make a bug report with relevant details. Older projects should always be compatible with newer builds.

The problem relied on using a version of the sidescroller library from before native pixel movement was added. Even if you fixed this, I'd still want to update the game to use a newer version of the library. Also, A Miner Adventure used both pixel movement (for the player) and tile-based movement (for flowing water), and now that's not possible since using pixel movement cancels out the glide effect.

I'm not terribly concerned with the first issue and the second isn't really a bug, just an unfortunate change.

I wish he'd get remotivated. :(
I began working on DMIDE again three days ago.

HELL YEAH!
Windows Exe: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9505004/DMIDE%20Jar%20Versions/ DMIDE%20Jar%20Exe/DMIDE%201.6.9.exe

Other OS's (Windows too): http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9505004/DMIDE%20Jar%20Versions/ DMIDE%201.6.9.jar

Requires Java SE 7. Get the latest version here (The JRE, not the JDK. The JDK is for development): http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/ index.html

More specificly (Will change later on): http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/ jre-7u3-download-1501631.html

Plugins Pack (Created this out of boredom :3): http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9505004/DMIDE%20Jar%20Versions/ Expixel%27s%20Plugins.zip

Using the plugins pack:
After opening DMIDE look at the menu bar and find the plugins menu and click it. Then click Download Plugins Pack, put in the specified link, and wait for the IDE to download the plugins. The Icon Editor plugin is very unstable and experimental so I recommend that you don't try and open any DMI files unless you're feeling very adventurous.

Bugs can be reported here if any are found: http://code.google.com/p/jdmide/issues/list

The dark theme is temporary, I just wanted something easier on my eyes.
YES! YES! YES! includes a .jar ! you champion!
Close button on the download manager does not work although the X does.
Fixed an issue with case in file names.

The reason for that is very simple good sir. I forgot :|
lol it also happens for the cancel buttons.

No biggy just thought you should know :).

Ctrl+K for compile doesn't work on mine either - MAY just be be screwing around.

Other than that great job :)

Ctrl+K should work for compiling. I'll look into it.
Still can't open already existing environments.

Can't compile code.

Can't run code.

Doesn't ask me to save my work when I exit.

That's the main things that popped out to me. From what I could see with that dark interface anyways, lol.

TLDR I can't use this yet. Too brokey.
Doesn't ask me to save my work when I exit. (I know about that one)

Can't compile code. (Works for me and others.)

Can't run code. (Works on my computer, but it seems to have problems with other people.)

Still can't open already existing environments. (You're the only person I've encountered with this issue.)
Chrome told me the .exe appears malicious and the .jar gave me this error:

Could not find the main class: com.devden.dmide.windows.LoadingScreen. Program will exit.

I tried the .exe anyway and when I ran it, it started downloading BYOND and the "Stop", "Close", and "X" buttons didn't work. With that behavior and the non-standard display, it certainly looks like malicious software.
It's not malicious at all.
