Another picture!

I really like that coloring.
The coloring is actually random for each floor, I really like it too! (:
You should do something I've always wanted to see: Destructible environments. In a rogue-like, I mean.
That doesn't fit in with my original plan so I probably won't be adding that in, sorry!
Maybe someone else (or you) could try that out!
you can farm stuff and chop wood in mine, but unless you count that as destruction, i don't think it would count
I just meant. Say, you used a powerful spell and missed, if it hit a wall, the wall would break. Then a demon comes and and slaughters you.

btw dwarf fortress has a system exactly like det!

you might want to try it
I've played it, so, I know.
My roguelike is more like ADOM or Rogue rather than Dwarf Fortress.
I started on mine this morning. I'm not making any promises on finishing it because it's difficult for me to find time to program during the week, but hopefully I'll have *something* I can turn in!
I'm not so sure I want to release my source as a framework now that I think about it. It won't even have any map generation in it. :/
There's a lot of map generation libraries out there, you should be fine.
finally finished the tedious job of creating the game system, i've finished chopping wood + farming, now i get to make some real fun quests!
Should be starting soon. Had to upgrade my OS so should be ready to go by tomorrow.

Also, stop being a show-off Oasis.
mate would it be fine to just release the dmb or something? i dont know whether you want the lib released as 'proof' det we started when you wanted us to or what but im cool either way!
I just need an executable so I can play the game and make a review of it.
