What games did you try?
I tried Naruto: The Last Battle 2.0, [Bleach] Shinzui, and Resident Evil Online 2. This is what happens http://i173.photobucket.com/albums/w71/Togakira/probss.jpg
Try connecting to byond://tiberath.com:55678 and see if that gives you the same message. If it does, head on over to BYOND Help, as it's more likely a client issue instead of a BYOND issue.
This alert is most commonly triggered when another user logs into the game with your key. Does it happen on all games? Please follow Tiberath's suggestion.
Few people have told me this happened to them. Ever since the last dream daemon update.
(On a side note: Try re-opening BYOND, perhaps connection to BYOND app wasn't established properly?) |
I've had the same problem with 1 game.. all other games I tired worked fine (Stargate Online)
The issue occured right after I cleaned my cache file. I tried reinstelling, cleaning cfg and cache files, loging in with another keys. those did not solve the problem. |
I have several since we updated the Linux server yesterday who can not get on SGO... it is weird my hubby can log in on my computer but not his own at home, and can also log in from work. Also no other computer in the house (of 4 others tried) can get in all getting Dream Deamon killing connection. I am getting reports from alot of players that they two are having the issue. For now we have reverted the server back to the older update and everyone can get in... Seems to be a Byond issue.
SGO's server just reverted back dream daemon 467. Recommending others do so as well until 468 is fixed.
Can someone host a game in 468 where users are getting this error? The only way we can fix it is if we can get it to come up on our end.
Please try this with the latest 469 build available at http://www.byond.com/download/
Have you tried it with v. 469 (on the download page) yet? If that fails, we're going to need an example of a game we can try to see the problem.
Yes ,I just download the new version, and the games I just tried to use are "Naruto: The Last Battle 2.0" and "Bleach unleashed Bankai"
I have had multiple people have this issue while trying to log in my game... hopefully something here can resolve this for them.. the problem seems to be growing and i even downgraded to version 467 and it is still there.. for a multiple amount of my players...
if the server is downgraded to 467 tell the players to try downgrading aswell and clean their old byond files like cache and cfg that should do the trick
We need a reliable test case for this issue, so it is important for someone who has seen it in action on their server to let us know. In particular it would help to have host files for the games in question, and when saying that the issue occurs in such and such a game, please provide a link and not just a name.
ForgottenNinja0, can you confirm this still happens when hosting in 467? That would be inconsistent with our earlier results but it would be useful information to know one way or the other. |
Yes I can confirm it happens within the 467 version.... it may not be completely server based but before I updated i never had the issue. Since I have redowngrade back to 467 I still have players who ive walked through every guide and etc to get them back in the game... its been tedious day after day trying to talk with players over forum chat, topics and by any other means of communication. In the end for some players still didn't even work...
