Extinct

EXTINCT is a high tech game in which at the beginning, a terrible fire strikes knothole, killing almost all locals and residensts. Sonic escaped, but only to find that he's alone. And he has no home. No food. No water. And he begins to wonder if he's the only hedgehog alive.

Sonic is at a lake that provides him with water. You come in when Sonic begins the quest to search for others of his kind. You are in time. There are others, but you must find them before they all die. There is night and day, and you have to sleep, but you can decide not to, risking health. The world is not a small one, so the game is not as easy as it sounds.
