BYOND Login/Logout

Is it possiable to add this to my website with-out DMCGI? What I mean is to direct them to the secure login page and then send the results to my server (HTTP)?

A server capible of doing this is also capible of loading DMCGI, I don't think there's a way to do it without having BYOND installed on said server (under UNIX-based systems), but at that point you get access to DMCGI so doing it yourself isn't really needed.

I heard Crispy was working on a way in PHP, but I haven't heard anything.

I think he's working it, but not actively.
If I remember right we got to a point where a UNIX based server could do it, but it would require the sort of access level where you could just install DMCGI.
