Wow, I haven't seen any DDR game threads here in a long time.
Well, first of all, I have been playing for 2 years now, and I am ranked in the top 100 in the county out of about a thousand players. I am the top rank in my town out of about 20 :P
Anyway..Anyone else here bought DDREX2?
If not, let me start with this.
1 - It has one of the better songlists of the home versions.
2 - Better gameplay options.
3 - Online play! See how you rank against others!
Since Konami stopped producing Arcade games, I guess that gives them more time to work on their console games.
Meh, I love DDREX2, I play it with me $250 AFTERBURNER Metal Pad.(The best pad avaliable next to COBOLT FLUX).
If you have never played DDR(Dance Dance Revolution) you should. It is a simple game to understand, yet a hard game to master.

If you just start, I really think you should buy the products here.
www.redoctane.com If you are looking for a pad to learn off off, look for the In The Groove official Pad. If you are looking for a longer lasting pad, better then the first, with a more arcade experience, look for the IGNITION 3.0 If you are looking for a hardcore Pad, with the perfect extreme arcade experience, and quality look for the AFTERBURNER. Of course, you can always buy a cheap $20~ pad at walmart or best buy. I bet they even have some foam ones there also. |
