Let me start by saying that compared to most of the things being called "games" in BYOND Anime, Bleach Las Noches(BLN) is a good game, certainly above the standard over there. However, this means nearly nothing. BLN is full of fun features, and has potential, but it is plagued with shotty graphics and many instances during play that make you want to pull your hair out.

This review is after playing for two days. I reached level 324. Despite what may seem to be a harsh review, I will continue playing this out, to see if it gets better as I progess. In other words, it's not the abortion of a game that many other BYOND Anime games are.

Gameplay: 6/10

Training is really only done by killing NPC mobs(hollow), other players, and by randomly attacking. When you start off, a system is included that reminds you of DDR, however this gets very boring, very quickly. There also seems to be a serious delay when you're attacking an NPC, which completely ruins your ability to kill them. I should also mention that when you get an NPC close to death they flee. In theory, this is a really neat idea, however, the NPCs will typically flee into several of his "buddies", and escape, leaving the other NPCs to kill you. Health and mana restore slowly, gradually, which I understand, however when combined with the issues at hand, and understanding this is a PVP environment, you will die, a lot. There is a stamina(Fatigue) stat that you can rest off, howver I haven't reached a point where you're allowed to recharge health or mana. This means that you have to fight NPCs, then go find a spot to hide, allow your stats to recharge, and repeat.

Presentation: 3/10

Sound is non-existent. No Music, no sound, nothing. This is a major turn off. As far as the graphics go, they're mediocre. The map is full of the same repetitive tiles that weren't done well in the first place. You can clearly tell where one tile begins, and the next begins. It appears that if characters have any shading, it's pillow shading. Combine this with the blocky layout of the different turfs, and you have a visually unappealing game.

Originality: 7/10
As far as originality is concerned, it is a game based on an anime, that's understood. However, there are some features in play that I find innovative as far as the Anime guild goes. One would be the DDR-esque training method. There are also auto-hosted events, such as tournament, Capture the flag(two flag variation), and survival. There's also a system that is reminiscent of 1 flag CTF.

A lovely review, disturbed. I have half a mind to actually play a Bleach game now. Only one concern, lern2thumbnail. ;)
Thanks. Once I finish playing BLN, I'm going to try and review something in a different dept. of BYOND.

Nice review. I used to kinda play BLN, but it got boring for me after a few days. :/

I sucked at it too.

I agree with what he said.
The major turn offs of the game to me were the graphics, no sound and the fact that if you die as a human then chose to be a wandering soul then killed you get a Pop-Up stating whether you want to be a Hollow or not... Well, it's bugged. If you chose Yes, you become a Hollow. If you chose No, you still become a Hollow.
There's no way around it. If they were going to offer the choice whether to be a Hollow or Not, they should at least do their best to make sure a No is a NO.
Uh, the pop up asks you if you want to become a temporary hollow. That is, if you go temporary, a shinigami NPC can kill you and revert you back to a human.

This is described in the game guide and on the prompt...
Guys, please keep the topic limited to my review. Not trying to be a dick, but I don't want a flame war on my blog. Alex, if you have an issue regarding a bug, please go to their forum to discuss it...and Hyren, thanks for clearing that up(I knew about it), but try not to retort to anymore complaints..

again, just trying to keep my blog as much of a zen garden as possible.
Yer I got bored of it then when I came back to play lol I got my player muted for a week went on alt to ask for unmute and have been banned for months now XD
man i got muted and i don't know how to get un-muted! it make a whole month and i still can't chat so i can't start my shinigami training!
I don't mind the game I just dislike the fact that if one player complains a lot the whole game is wiped almost every week it happens and I have to keep starting over
