BYOND -4.0?
Take, for example, the "skin" feature. Skins are intended to let you customize most aspects of the Dream Seeker window. However, it looks like the creators have taken this concept overboard and made it such that if you want to customize ANY aspect of a game, including the default font, you have to use skins. Thanks to having programmed before, I was finally able to figure out how to change the default game font from MS Sans Serif to Courier New (a, what, three-step process in 3.5 and before)? Not to mention, it looks like I managed to accidentally screw up the length of the text window while I was trying to edit the font, so that the bottom part of the window is hidden underneath the command line. Now I can't read the last thing people post.
Oh, I forgot to mention the first problem I experienced with 4.0 - the fact that if I left OpenGL acceleration on, my entire computer would freeze upon loading the game and the only way to fix it was a hard reboot. Unfortunately, the only way to fix that is through the DS "options and messages" window, and the only way to open that without loading a game is to type a bad URL into the main BYOND window. Thanks to Tarq for helping me figure that one out, and I hope it helps those of you who have similar problems.
