Working out results for 9 days.
Alright, so I've been working out for 9 days. I haven't necessarily made every day consistent, I change up what I do daily. You may have read my last post about Wii Fit, and well let me tell you what I got out of it. The first 3 days that is all I did, about an hour and a half a day, and it in fact did provide results. Not much, but I had lost some and my posture became much, much better, as well as my balance. Then I decided to change it up a bit - add in Wii Sports to the program. So for about 2 days I played an hour and a half of Wii Fit and a half hour of Wii Sports (typically just boxing and tennis, 15 minutes each) and that brought even more results obviously. Then, a friend and I both started playing tennis and swimming and that completely helped. Now everyday I have gone to the gym, rode the bike and did the stair stepper for about an hour and a half (burning about 850 calories), weight resistance on the abs, and swimming for the duration of the 2 hour period. Because I'm home for the summer, I also can do some yoga before I go out on the Wii Fit, and when I come back I have some fun and play a little bit of tennis on Wii Sports. In the past 9 days I have lost 5 pounds (which I actually don't think is necessarily healthy, so I may need to eat a little bit more then I have, but I feel as if I've actually never been in better shape).
So, as far as Wii Fit is concerned, I honestly think it is worth the money. I mean, unless you know all the yoga poses and strength training, then maybe you don't, but for me Wii Fit definitely put me on the right path to success for weight loss. Not only that but some of the Aerobic games are very enjoyable such as the Hula Hoops and the balance games get a bit addicting but also help your balance for real life. Personally I don't regret spending over 100 dollars for a video game, because I can see the results and I feel much better from it.
Extra info:
I weighed in at the beginning with a weight of 157.4 lbs and a BMI of 23.31. My waist size was 33 in. Today, at this moment I am 152.1 lbs with a BMI of 22.53. My waist is also now 32 in.
I have changed my diet slightly but not by much, I still eat about the same amount I have just replaced soda with water.
