Around one year ago, I found myself in the same place.

Quitting because I was the downfall of a community.

I wasn't quite a major part of it, but I was part of Propaganda.

We were what started all of this against Masterdan, as a mindless prank for just a few cheap laughs. Then it spread, similar to a propaganda causing an RSC Extractor to be released in his name and people to constantly bash him.

Is it honestly fair for one man to be abused because of us? I don't think so.

I hope you all can accept my apology. This is the end for me this time, for real.

Yet, I leave you with one thing:
The world, you see, keeps turning, and we must turn with it. Don't let the mysteries of yesterday mystify you today. Only losers think like that. You've got to change with the times.

Adieu.

Sources to some stuff I will never finish

I'm known to never finish anything. I've lost most of my sources already, so here are some recent ones:
Contains:
-Dragon Warrior Chronicles (from like 2 years ago, it's really horrible. Basically running a really version of the QUEST Engine)
-Gravity Arena (aka Gravarg, has a bad text parser. Check out Jefferson Aero Plane for a better one)
-Jefferson Aero Plane (A chat I was working on and never finished. Has a better text parser than gravarg)
-keylib (My poor attempt at imitating Wiznet before having access)
-ohack (my poor attempt at map creation and a roguelike)
-QUEST Engine 4.0 (an easy to manipulate zelda like battle system with elements, spells, etc. It's being used in Khalamari's upcoming Dragon Warrior Adventure.)
-Slime Sliders (I really have no idea what this was going to be.)
-tuxQuest (Splattergnome inspired me to make something like this with his Minigame. It was going to be a full fldeged game.)

As you can see I had a thing for Dragon Warrior/Quest back then (even now! :p).

QUEST Engine is probably the most complete and flexible source code in there.

Well, here you go: http://members.byond.com/OlYeller/files/projects.rar

I really won't be able to use BYOND anymore since I am purchasing an iMac soon and using OS X so I guess that's the end of this. :p

I'll be spending my time that I was spending on BYOND learning Python so I can create cross platform applications/games that will hopefully be enjoyed by many people.

Some of these sources are really horrible and I do not recommend learning off of them. Seriously.

A thanks to the following people (I used their libraries, if I forgot somebody please say so!):
Abyss Dragon: SET and BasicMath
Theodis: PathFinding
Deadron: PathFinding
Lummox JR: Swapmaps
MobiusEvalon: Wiznet

in a blog post below you can see a simple game i've been working on: gravarg

there's more explanation in the last post but i honestly don't know which type of game to make gravarg

it could be an awesome cooperative game, a hectic deathmatch, a 4-way tsif clone, i really have no clue!

so that's why i'm asking you guys for help

gravarg

gravarg is a wacky co-operative game with no content in it currently. everyone sees the world from a different perspective and the gravity reacts to them depending on that perspective

it an idea stolen from squidi's 300 ideas and then changed around a bit

if you'd like to see the progress so far and perhaps help me find bugs in the current system:
byond://71.13.236.131:3636 (requires 4.0 build 25)

i'd also love any suggestions and what to add content-wise, seeing as i have no ideas =)

Sorry, Volte. I couldn't resist getting a screenshot of that. =p

[edit] it seems it does not require 4.0_25, but if you don't have it it runs really slow and does not look as good
