Yeah I did bro but the link timed out.

Nah, you'd need to upload the image to a image sharing website like imgur.

And you can just copy/paste the code.
Well I identified the problem anyway, it's something to do with the size of the image, because when I made it a typical object (not attached to a client screen) it did the same thing blocking out the darkness

Ok so the cause of my plight was found as I hung out in my river cabin today. I realised ... *drumroll*

...I was using a side-on map format!!!
The side-on map prioritizes atoms closer to the bottom of the screen as being on higher layers, so obviously my "sky object" at the bottom of the screen was overlapping everything!!!!

Changed the map format back to topdown, instant fix.
