Descriptive Problem Summary:

Before the map editor overhaul it used to be possible to select a tile, then ctrl+click another tile using the selection tool to select a rectangle with those two tiles as the corners. This is no longer the case, ctrl+click doesn't do anything in the new map editor. This makes doing large selections very tedious.
