The demo came out yesterday, and I suggest that you check it out. The demo has a fair amount of content, including unlimited turns, a mini-manual in PDF form (nifty, if not so useful), and the ability to play online. If anyone wants to have a match, I'd be certainly up for it.

On a completely unrelated note, I apparently have only 23 hours until my membership expires. Ah well.

Anyone excited for Sword of the Stars?

This game sounds like it will be simply amazing. A return to the roots of 4x, making a game that is fun to play, not stuffed with micromanagement. Something that that has depth and detail, but remains relatively simplistic. A game designed with online multiplayer matches
in mind. A randomized tech tree, created each match. Not to mention the differences between the various races seems to be pretty creative. Humans can travel ridiculously fast across large swathes of space, but these opportunities are limited. Hivers are slow, but can build teleportation gates. Tarka have general all purpose travel that is fairly fast but has lower range. The Liir "flicker" so that during combat, your attacks might not even hit them.

A 4x game that's meant to be fun? Amazing. =P

Anybody planning on getting Animal Crossing for the DS? The Wi-Fi part seems pretty nifty... Shame I don't trust you guys not to cut down all the trees. =P
