Preparations for a Job Fair
Haven't posted anything on my blog in a while because I'm usually busy with school or life itself. But for those who actually care for what I do, this is what I have been up to the past few days. I've been preparing for this job fair that takes place in my college today.
I forgot how much one has to do to get a decent job in present time(not sure about places outside New York). Many different companies will arrive at my school in a few hours to interview/hire students that are interested in job positions in different areas. I seriously did not realize how much paperwork this event would take; I had to print out multiple resumes, fill out job applications, etc.
Times like this are what make me wish I was back in third grade doing easy homework and watching cartoons with no worries about anything. But hey, that's life and I need to keep moving on and pray I actually get a job that could help me earn a few bucks here and there. Also, when I say companies I don't want to confuse anyone into thinking they are huge industries that make billions and trillions of dollars. They are companies like Best Buy, Cablevision, etc.
Wish me luck, it's time to end this blog post and get ready for school and the job fair. I'll update you guys soon on how things went today; Hopefully I'll get a decent paying job and buy myself a nice birthday present next week(Nov 28 btw ^_^).
