Raid #2 Progress Report
After playing through the game some I decided to remove that crap-of-a-hud feature on the left clogging up the screen. Instead i'm going with a generic RPG style skill/spell hud system.
Now its way easier to create more skills/spells for the player to use. Also a lot cleaner for the player.
With this I'm in the process of a Skill Tree. Which players can buy Spells/Skills from. Similar to GOA. Players will be able to do Quests for Skill Points(SP) which can be used to buy available skills.
Tree's have been changed to fit the game a bit more. Also, they have a chance of falling down. When you cut them for wood they also fall down. :)
Another neat feature has been added, Mounts. Mounts are pets(followers) who can be used in combat or that you can ride on. Right now riding on them has nothing usefull, other than eye candy. If you have any ideas feel free to post. Other than being useless pets they can also fight enemies, or players. Their stats can also be leveled as they're used for combat. Here is a pic of me riding a Black Horse. Currently there are only Tigers and a half-finished black horse.

Modern Warfare 2
Modern warfare 2 comes out in 2 hours. I'm excited and can't wait. I'm still confused on the release date. I thought the midnight release was on the 11th, but Gamestop, MSN, and Google say the midnight release is tonight. Oh well, we'll see when I show up at Gamestop.

Raid #1 Progress Report
Hello. I've started up this weekly progress report for Raid so people can see how the game is moving along up until the closed beta release. A closed beta post will be made in the future with more details.
A Skill HUD system has been added. It stores all your interactive skills for combat. As shown below.
Then after they click the skill they perform that skill and the HUD icon is darkened. After it's cooldown time is over it will then return back to normal.
Also a new town has been added called Redmerrow. Some images of it's market place can be viewed at the Media section of Raids hub page.
Redmerrow:
Founded by traveling groups of merchants traveling though the Mallowhaven Kingdom. Eventually settled into what is now called Redmerrow. Redmerrow got it's name by the demonic bird Merrow that travels through Mallowhaven each winter. The birds color is darkish red, hence the name Redmerrow. Now Redmerrow is the central area for merchant trading across all of the Mallowhaven Kingdom, also a wonderland for thieves and scammers about. The merchants hired mercenaries with their wealth of guarding their goods. Redmerrow can be found by traveling South West of Aelden.

Farawayhost or SliceHost
Hello,
In my further hunt for a hosting service I have narrowed it down to
FarawayHost and
SliceHost. FarawayHost is more in my favor because of it's low prices, but if you see a reason why SliceHost may be better please post.

What makes a MMORPG/MORPG/RPG fun?
After doing a couple google searches of why people like MMORPGs so much. I was wondering, what do you think makes a MMORPG/MORPG/RPG fun? What would make you want to return to that game? Game features? Storyline? Graphics? Feel free to anwser.
