I'm Back
A huge thanks to Sabaku no Kira for renewing my membership. It was an unexpected surprise all around, but I greatly appreciate it. You may commence downloading the host files for Mitadake again. :D

Sigrogana Legend Update (Jan 09)
We updated today with some changes and additions already listed in the
Worklog on the forums (though it's apparent not everyone reads it!) Give it a glance if you're curious what's been added since the last update on the 5th~, but if you're too lazy, I'll summarize; a new class (Detective), as well as several major changes to a few status effects.
My BYOND Membership is also starting on its last month today, and I doubt I'll be able to renew it myself. I don't use this blog much, so it's not a huge deal, but it will mean the host files for the games that have them up here will no longer be accessible. So, if no one renews it for me, I'd grab a hold of the files while you can because hosting them on the website probably isn't going to happen.
Thanks.

Something weird in the neighborhood.
A little disturbing thing I found... Apparently a resource extraction list from someone named 'Rob'. Was that the name of the DarkWizard guy? Either way, some peculiar stuff. Seems to have been posted 2 days ago.

Apparently Mitadake and Sigrogana got extracted, which is really weird because I haven't actually sent the SL host files to anyone but one person, so I don't really know how they could've gotten the .rsc.
Unfortunately several other games seem to have gotten it too; Proelium, P2, DNO, Seika, etc. I dunno how this makes me feel. On the one hand I am disturbed because I felt I had a relatively good security on at least one of my games, which seems to have been for naught, and I don't think the person who I have host it would send the host files to anyone else. I am also a little upset about how easy it seems to be to pull files from the .rsc, taking less than a second for even big games.
Going to go ahead and save a copy of this page just in case the person who posted it finds it and tries to take it down, so let me know if you can't access the page anymore and I'll post it.

Client Side -> Server Side
If you're logging onto Sigrogana Legend today and you've played before, you might want to be aware (if you're not already) that we're moving from client side saving to server side saving.
The bad news is that your characters will be lost. The good news is that any items in your house and your player houses themselves will be fine. So, if you get a moment between now and 5 PM EST, you might want to log in and drop your items and Murai in your house for safe keeping, as we've been suggesting all week.
If you're too late? Well, you're too late, I guess.
Just giving you guys a last heads up.

Sigrogana Legend Public Testing
As of the time of this posting, I'm opening the game up for a public testing period. If you didn't even know the game was being updated again, might I suggest glancing over
this post of mine since it details all of that stuff.
If you don't know what the game is, I'll summarize; it is a multiplayer roleplaying game (as in actual roleplaying, not just sitting in the genre). That's a very generic summary. For more on what's all in it, check the previously linked post for screenshots/game details or check the hub entry, or even better yet, the game itself.
If you happen to join the game, please take a minute to read the Foreword from the Developer, as it details some things that I don't want to re-list here.
You can join the game by clicking the link just to your right under 'Cool Games', and finding the server listing. I'm not sure how long I'll be keeping the server open (it ultimately depends on if any bugs and such are discovered), but it should be at least a few hours.
Thanks for reading.
