Bad frog, bad, bad!

I'm not exactly sure what this frog is doing, but I'm pretty sure he shouldn't be doing it in public. :P

Welcome me to the late 20th century.

Well, I finally broke down, not really for myself, but for my wife. I went to get her a cell phone for her birthday, and got one for myself as well. The price difference was pretty minimal. Pretty nifty little things, actually. We got LG Rumors. They've got some issues, and I might have picked differently had I looked around a bit more, but I like them. And more importantly, my wife likes hers.

Happy (belated) Birthday to Me!

Yesterday was my birthday. I turned 40. Beats not making 40, I suppose ;)

The day before, Valentine's Day, was also my tenth wedding anniversary. I decided to give my wife the present she's been harping on me about for years now. I quit smoking... again. :) For real this time though. I'm getting older, and I want to be around for a while, watch my kids get older and all that mushy stuff.

Wish me luck.

Pol Parsley - The Thai Elvis

Pol Parsley, also known as 'The Thai Elvis', lives in my area. Years ago, I occasionally ate at the Chinese restaraunt he and his family owned, and he would come up to tables in his Elvis outfit and try to sell audio tapes. His english was pretty bad, but finally, after a fairly large quantity of adult beverages, I broke down and bought one. Turns out he's actually pretty good vocally, and his stage show is absolutely hilarious. Too bad the audio on this is terrible.

Doesn't seem to want to work from the preview. Maybe a link will work.

Hex board game library.

I'm working on a library for those who would like to make a hex board based game. Movement works, though the graphics seem to update a bit slowly for non-hosting players. The board works fine for any size map, and displays hexes with heights. I'm having some issues with rotating the board at the moment. North and south I've figured out. NW, SW, NE, and SE are being a bit more problematic.
