Workarounds:
no at the moment
Can you describe the steps to reproduce the problem in any more detail? I was doing mapping while testing and did not run into any such problem, so there must be something specific that triggers it.
I'm not entirely sure if this is what Gojan is talking about, but I'm getting some serious map issues as well.

That gif was recorded in Dream Seeker. The tiles in question are turfs which where put there at runtime, it's from a map editor. The bug happens when playing it with version 500. Compiling again with version 500 doesn't seem to fix the problem.
Do you have a project that illustrates this? I need a test case where I can compare behavior in 499 vs. 500. Host files may be enough to do the trick. You can send zips to me at [email protected].
Also I should ask for clarification: When you say the turfs are put there at runtime, do you mean at world start or do you actually have soft code adding those?
Yup maps are unpredictable. :( Seems like it generates the map as you Move around and it loads the wrong atoms in locations at times.

Which games is this happening with? I need information I can actually test.
All games.
Lummox JR run a game such as Angel Falls with dream seeker only to reproduce this problem it wont do this bug hosting it with dream deamon or playing a live game.
Okay, but what steps should I take to reproduce it? I don't play Angel Falls and don't know what I have to do to get to a point in the game where this happens. The more you can break this down for me, the better.

I think I have a lead on where this might be happening; I just need to confirm.
Basically, get in a game and run around aimlessly and you will find bits and pieces of a map different. It is completely unpredictable where and when the maps do this.
I can take screenshots of games all day on this too.

the roof looking atoms are suppose to be trees.
Is this a graphical bug, or are the actual objects types changed?
I'll check that now.
I need something to narrow this down. I suspect it happens when you're moving around, but I don't have good data to reproduce it. There was a change to the way the map is sent, which I may just revert entirely, but ideally I'd like to find the issue because this obviously works for most cases, and is just failing in specific instances.

Is there a specific pattern you're moving in when this happens? Moving constantly in a given direction, or starting and stopping?
It is the graphics. The parent types and the icon are right but the graphic is not.

Check this out I clicked the cliff looking icon and it showed the correct icon but the graphic does not load properly.

I think I may have a fix for this. Please retest in 500.1206.
Whatever you did must have fixed it because I can't reproduce the bug in 500.1206.
Tom resolved issue
-canno reproduce the bug anymore.
Hope its fixed =)
