here is what i am asking

there is a old game called mordor the depthsd of denjenol
http://www.oldgamesfinder.com/?m=1&q=Mordor:%20The%20Depths% 20of%20Dejenol
the first link

you need dosbox it says and you can install mordor and any old dos games

BUT WHEN I DRAG THE INSTALL FILE TO DOSBOX
all dosbox says is you need windows to install this file
I ALREADY HAVE WINDOWS

would you attempt this & give me feedback
In DOSBox, you're running a VM. That VM doesn't know about Windows. If the game you're trying to play is a Windows 3.1 game, you'll need that installed in the virtual environment to run. If the game is for Windows 95 or later, DOSBox isn't the right tool for the job.
Continuing what Lummox Jr was going on with: M:TDoD is for Win3.1. Recommended using installing Win3.1 on DosBox and THEN running the game.

Or if you run a 32-bit OS, you can try Compatibility Mode for WinXP 32-Bit.
