Changes to control_freak have been discussed before, but I know that you're probably too busy with other stuff right now to create all of the desired features. What I'm hoping for is a short-term solution that will hopefully require very little effort on your part.

What I'd like is either to be able to change the value of control_freak at runtime for individual clients, or for the "Options and Messages" menu to be still be available using the .options macro even when control_freak is enabled.
