Okay... one compile just before this.. i was updating the map perfectly fine... and then compiling just to update it.. this comes out of nowhere...

then the map fails to load... it says the issue lies within the map.. and it found it does after compiling it with so...and it works fine... but how did this just occur out of the blue and is their any help how to fix the issue....?

Map files can occasionally get corrupted. They are stored as plain-text, so you can open them up in notepad or somesuch and fix the error manually, but it can often be a pain.

I am having this issue as well, it happened when I tried to clean compile my source.
I've tried putting another map in with another name, and that works. I've tried taking a back up from 2 weeks prior, that does not work.. | |
