Hi, my antivirus says this program has ransomware in it. Can anyone official verify whether this is safe?

AVG is way wrong. Report the false positive to them. Then stop using AVG because it sucks. I used to use it but it started sucking like 10 years ago.

I can confirm that occasionally malwarebytes will also quarantine dreamseeker/daemon as ransomware.
