when i make my map and comple it i get my map but it has this black thing covering it. I don't want this black thing how do i get rid of it and only have one map?

Also when i start the game the game puts my male character in it but i want it to say what speciies in it should be human and when u pick human it should say what gender and then you pick the gender femal or male how do i do this?plz help!
