Problem Description:Whenever I try to connect to any server except for byond://BYOND.world.2021818597##webid=83da659d6f315fab0e3602 ca3abd5b090ad71d226200209e the client hangs on the connection and eventually the connection window closes by itself.

Steps to Reproduce Problem:Trying to connect to a server.
Could you please try the following instructions (completely, including the cfg steps).
Thank you in advance.

I did that, and now I can join server but the "Launching BYOND.world" window never closes and I appear as a guest, even though the client tells me I am logged in.

Nope, back at square one now without even being able to connect.

Also, I have tried both the cfg in appdata and my documents independently and together - nothing works.

Another development - instead of hanging, it displays "Failed" after the connecting now.

edit: and now it's not

How exactly are you trying to join a game?
When you open the byond.exe and log in, what does it say in the status bar?
In response to Schnitzelnagler
Logged in as Abderian [public].

It's a very intermittent problem though, sometimes it works, sometimes not.

I do not have any experience with BYOND on Windows 7, so I can't really judge if that might be a source for the trouble you're experiencing.
Do you see any sort of pattern as to when it works and when it does not?
In response to Schnitzelnagler
It works when I first turn on my PC, and I can connect for quite a few times, but subsequent attempts do not work. Restarting also does not work.

Could you check if you are running out of RAM?
Is byond.exe keeping itself in the running processes?
Maybe your internet connection is going haywire after some time?
