Hello there people,
I'm new to server hosting and stuff, my brother (who shares wifi with me) is having problem joining my server. While others can join easily. His IP is dynamic, he tried joining but it failed. I helped him converting his ip into static, yet he is unable to join my server.

Isn't this same as multi-keying? Why can't he join my server while everyone can do so? Please help me out.

Best Regards,
Ali

He should be using your LAN ip to login to the game
Is he simply going to type the LAN IP at 'Open Location' or will he be needing to add byond:// before it?

Thanks a lot for replying :)
I know I'll sound quite noob here, but I tried opening it from my brother's PC, but it's not working. I wonder if I'm typing the wrong lan IP or what.

Is there an easy way to know your lan ip? I tried using Ipconfig at 'cmd'. Could you tell me a more easier way to make sure I'm typing the correct lan IP?

Thanks.
He can do either with the open location menu item but he will need

ip:port to login :)
Ipconfig is the best way or login to the router and find the devices list that should show you what ip is connected to which device.
It worked. Thanks for everything.
Great! No problem anytime :)
