We used to have some guy on our block, dress up in a full "scare crow" costume, along with straw stuffing and stuff. He would put the bowl in his lap and leave a sign saying "please take only one piece". When someone got greedy and took more then that, he would jump up, screaming, scaring the living crap out of the kid. You could do something like that. But this guy went all out and used like a burlap sack as a mask and stuffed it with hay. You would swear to god that it was a scare crow until it grabbed you and started screaming.
