Windows Vista Starter

* Memory - 256 (Minimum) 512 (Recommended/Maximum)

* Super VGA resolution video adapter and monitor.
* Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device.



Windows XP FLP

* Pentium class processor 233 MHz (300 MHz recommended)
* 64 MB RAM (128 MB recommended)
* 500 MB HDD (1 GB recommended)
* 800x600 or higher display resolution
* 10Mbps Network card
* Bootable CD drive or network install required





Although crippled they seem, I see these as offering new life to horribly out of date hardware.

Software Restrictions

* Windows Starter 2007 Beta has a restriction of opening only three applications at a time.

That sucks lol
As for the XP version, I suggest just using Windows 2k. Same effect for less price(Sometimes free, being an older version of windows). As for the Vista, why not just use XP? It has half the requirements on the standard version and has a lot larger of a supported software library.

I love WindowsRG, use it at work all the time.
It's a little hard to be productive with it, because it sometimes crashes, but all-in-all it's a great OS.
