Dream Seeker Not Responding

I went back into my installed updates and there was in fact a more recently installed security update. I uninstalled and dream seeker works normally again. Thanks for the help.

I had the same issue, with dream seeker crashing. The solution was to uninstall the most recent Security Update installed on 29.12.15. Thank you for helping to resolve this issue.

Descriptive Problem Summary:Whenever I try to open any game it immediately tells me 'Dream seeker is not responding.'

Numbered Steps to Reproduce Problem:Open byond, login, click on a game, then it tells you 'Dream seeker is not responding.'

Expected Results:I expected the game to work just fine. lol

Actual Results:Didn't work as I wanted to, everytime I try to open a game either a new one or a old one I always play I always get the error

Does the problem occur:
Every time
In other games: Yes
In other user accounts: Yes
On other computers: I can't test that.

When does the problem NOT occur?

Did the problem NOT occur in any earlier versions? If so, what was the last version that worked? (Visit http://www.byond.com/download/build to download old versions for testing.)

Oops didn't really scroll down,

When does the problem NOT occur: It always occurs.

Did the problem NOT occur in any earlier versions? If so, what was the last version that worked? (Visit http://www.byond.com/download/build to download old versions for testing.): It did occur with older versions. The version where it did work was 509.1287 the latest but today it decided to not work at all.

Workarounds: None that I know of.

This sounds more like the Avast problem. Add BYOND to your exceptions list and report the false positive.

I have same issues... i already upgraded my drivers, cleared caches, added byond to firewall, stopped firewall and dream seeker continue stopping to work and not responding
