Commonly used Tools for BYOND Art Society

I just wanna know from you guys, what tools do you guys mostly use to make quality icons?
I'm trying to up my skills right now, since I already got the hang of basic creation and animation, I want to make sure I catch up on the latest tools as well.

Pencil, Line, paint bucket.

I use Photoshop and microsoft paint, and a little of byond .dmi nothin to fancy

MS Paint, XP Version.
If I need something fancy done, GIMP.

MS Paint has everything you could want for Pixel Art(espesh the new version).

Uh i am still rather new to pixeling but i use, paint, dream maker, photoshop, open canvas(occasionally for effects), sometimes i also use Paint.NET. It just all depends on your preference and what you can work with easier to your specs and needs.

I use MS Paint. I think that's pretty much all you need really. I'm gonna start using either Graphics Gale, or Gimp for some other stuff too...
