How would I safely move the BYOND (appdata) folder?

I vaguely remember it being unsafe to just ctrl+c ctrl+v it. So how would I safely move it to documents (or any other directory)?

If you can do it via the pager, that's the simplest way. Go to your pager preferences, advanced section, and change your directory to somewhere else.

If not, then this is what you need to do:

1) Make sure all BYOND programs are closed.
2) Move the BYOND data folder to wherever you want.
3) Open up the registry editor.
4) Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Dantom\BYOND
5) Change the "userpath" value to the new path you picked.
