Seemed pretty obvious that the whole thing was a setup to make him seem out of it. He appears to be going for a Jim Morrison like presence. I don't know anything about the movie so I don't know how this act connects.

Its on so many front pages because its plausible. Theres even youtube videos of him rapping at clubs.
