The idea that you could lock a post for the only reason that it was talked about in the past is just dumb. The whole reason of bring up past topics is to create a change of past decisions/ideas. If you go around locking those post because you have your opinion that something may not change you are trolling. If i went to a topic which i didn't like and stopped its creativity by trolling it death two things would happen.

1. i would be banned
2. i would killed a topic they may have had a great effect on the community for good or bad.
whats the difference between an admin locking it for there opinion because i see non.

Like I mentioned they don't really have guidelines they do what they feel like when they feel like.

If a bad decision is made they won't rectify it at all unless you complain and even then they normally won't unless Tom tells them to.

Which is bad, you have to admit these forums aren't very up to scratch in the way features so the moderators are fully to blame.

The decisions they make are sometime's ridiculous..
Your misconception is that by discussing the matter you're going to change some decision on it. FUNimation's decisions are not directly linked to our own, and they surely don't read our forums. Nothing good could come from discussing this specific topic again.

But if you were going to try to start a petition to influence FUNimations decision wouldnt this be the place to start it. Anyway I look at it byond is the loser in Funimations decision, perhaps you can apply to them and get them to change there minds. And it probably wont work but if you dont even try then there is no chance at all.
Starting a petition is fine, we aren't going to stop that. The problem as I stated previously, though, is that your post was an invitation for more heated arguments between those for and against the anime games that got removed. That's the reason it got locked under guideline #3.

Buy a membership get a hub have no rights on the forum even though you are a paying customer.
If either of you have a problem with this, you can take it to the support form. We've given you a clear explanation of why the post was locked along with backing by the community guidelines. I'm not going to respond to this any further.

Well I cant lie, I was sorta disappointed by the hubs getting rejected. I didn't realize Byond even did that lol. I assumed that hubs where like advertising that you were paying for lol.

That's fair enough I don't have a problem I just don't understand why it has been done it makes no sense to me..

If a topic has already been discussed "to death" several times in the past, there's basically nothing more that can be added to it. Especially topics that are sensitive in nature, or prone to... let's call it 'sparking emotional responses.'
The entire issue around fangames being allowed or not is one of those topics. As is the entire issue with FUNimation's legal correspondence.
As, since it appears to have come back up, is "Are the Moderators all just petty tyrants?"

In this particular case, opening up a topic about FUNimation won't accomplish anything except some ranting and angry posts.
FUNimation have made their position on the matter clear already, and BYOND has accepted that position and taken appropriate action.

As Audeuro mentioned, opening a petition is fine - we don't really get affected either way by that, and if it works, that's great.

I'm going to lock this topic now, partly because I feel the question has been answered, and partly because it appears to be turning into another iteration of the several "Let's Rant about Moderators/'The State of BYOND'" topics I've seen in the past.
