missing export

I think my grandpa installed some old software that overwrote a dll file, but windows will not let me re-overwrite the old dll with a newer version, here is the exact error I get while trying to start byond:

The MSVCIRT.DLL file is linked to the missing MSVCRT.DLL:??_U@YAPAXI@Z


This is getting quite annoying.

Try running sfc(system file checker). Hopefully it can fix your problem.
