Galactic Civilizations II!

The playable demo of Galactic Civilations II has finially been released! You can download it either from Gamespot, or from Download.com.

GalCiv II is a space-themed 4X strategy game (eXpand, eXplore, eXploit, eXterminate) by Stardock. If you haven't bought the game, download the demo now for some turn-based strategy fun! :)

AOL's Newest Cool Thing

AOL and Warner Bros. have teamed up to bring us In2TV, a totally free broadband TV network. It has full length TV episodes including great shows like Babylon 5, and Pinky and the Brain.

Also, Lummox JR will probably be happy to hear that so far they have 9 episodes of Adventures of Brisco County Jr.

The Escapist (http://www.escapistmagazine.com/) is a high quality magazine that is entirely dedicated to covering gaming and game-related issues. It's a great read for both gamers, and game designers. It's freely available online as html or as pdf, so check it out sometime.
