Dear forum moderators,
In the future, after closing a post, could you please post a reason for the closure instead of just closing it and leaving no explanation as happened in the "BYOND 4.0!!!" posts.

It was probably going off topic, had served its purpose, and most of the stuff in it was just revisiting what was in earlier posts. I suspect this thread will probably be going soon, too.

In addition to that, there were some offensive flame-ish posts that got deleted. The situation (and the size and lack of content of the thread) was getting out of hand enough to warrant a closure.

They did not leave an official reason for closure, leaving forum users to speculate and come to conclusions that will never be more than half-truths,...

Yes, usually topics that big go deeply off topic, causing them to be deleted.
