OK, so I'm feeling that my 4k entry is starting to come together. It needs more maps (only 1 works at the moment) and there may be one or two bugs I don't know about since I've only been testing it with one player.
The game is basically what my snow game competition entry would have been if I hadn't given up on it after people started talking seriously about design. I was mid-exams so I didn't really have much time to spend on a game, but now I'm exam-free so I thought I'd finish it off, squeeze it down and submit it to the 4k contest.
So, if a couple of people could log in and play a couple of games that would be great. I may host a game over the weekend if I have time.

Do you have a direct link to the game files? The BYOND hub apparently isn't happy with letting people download stuff right now.

How exactly does it play? There doesn't appear to be any helpfile included. Aside from stealing flags and returning them to base, what else can you do?

Throw snowballs by holding down Insert, crouch by holding Delete (this works best if you have num lock in a certain state so that you can use Numpad Insert and Numpad Delete, my keyboard doesn't have a num lock light so I can't really tell you which state :-P).
Crouching behind low rocks will provide you cover but while behind a low rock half of your snowballs will hit aforementioned low rock. In-game helpfiles would probably be a good idea. |
