wow i just read this today. Me and my family went to the movies one day. We were all supposed to see Avatar but i wanted to see Sherlock Holmes and i enjoyed it. My family enjoyed avatar in 3d and i dunno why. Looks like i made the right choice not to see it.

It was a bore of a movie... but the beauty of the graphics was superb... and that last 10 or so minutes of fighting

And it's really weird that it's old school directors like the George Lucas', Steven Spielberg's and James Cameron's of the world that are obsessed with putting in as much cutting edge CGI effects into every frame of a movie as they possibly can get away with. Some random younger director: "hey how about we build a set for this movie...and not film the entire thing in front of a green screen?" Steven Spielberg: "stfu n00b needs moar CGI." When those idiots all die or retire I think movies will be better again in general. | |
