I was wondering how many episodes are in the Love Hina series. I started to downloaded the series yesterday. I have currently downloaded 21 episodes and am currently downloading episodes 22 - 27. Also I'm looking for some suggestions for good Anime shows to download.
Eww Eww Eww Eww. The only 2 I ever liked were Macross PLUS and Hellsing.

Is there something wrong with Love Hina. The shows is pretty dang funny. One other question is episode 26 a Christmas Special???

[Edit]Aslo is Love Hina Episode 27 supposed to be a Spring Special.

All anime suck. I've always wondered why pretty much only nerds watch it though. I mean if it was really good wouldn't everyone watch it?

Something good is rarely loved by everyone. Take a good game. You can either make a crappy game aimed at every group of gamers, or you can make a great game aimed at a specific sub-group of a group of gamers.

Or your just the only one that doesn't like it, because no one likes you?

[EDIT] Besides, nerds do not watch anime, anime fans watch anime. Nerds watch the discovery channel, or "Myth busters" (which is actually a pretty good show none the less). But until you don't make yourself look stupid, because you don't know what your talking about, stay quite.[/EDIT]

If I were asking for your opinion on anime I would have mentioned it in one of the first topics. Instead I asked for help and some good anime show suggestions. Please stick to topic and no SPAMMING.

Sorry, The best currently is blue gender, in my tastes. (No not the "american" one.)

Then there is Inuyasha (No, not the american one e.e;;)

Afterwords, Sword of beserk.

I can't think of them all right now, but those three should keep you occupied.

Inuyasha - 121 epi's
Sword Of Beserk - 25 epi's
Blue Gender - 26 epi's

And if that isn't enough, go Here and search through that list, and just test out which animes you think you might like. I do, and its fn! ^^;
It looks like there are only 28 episodes in Love Hina. I'm downloading episode 28 currently. I figured I'd also start to download Love Hina Again. There doesn't seem to be very many episodes in this series. These episodes are gonna take a bit longer to get Each episode is about 250MB.

That's a pretty lousy assumption. Not all anime is bad, just the ones you've probably witnessed that have been released to the American public. Hellsing is a pretty damn good anime, and in my opinion I think Shaman King is as well.
I agree that most animes could be much better, and are generally uninteresting, but so is much of any genre of media. Sitcoms, comedys, cartoons, any type you will ever watch will have a large population of series that you just can't stand. And if you don't like Anime solely for the art style, then I assume you dislike all cartoons because of their unrealistic look. It's just not right to flame one type of media because you dislike a handful of the things it consists of. It'd be like flaming all sitcoms because I dislike the show "Friends", but hell I love the Simpsons.
As for Love Hina, I have never seen it but other Animes that I like are Hellsing, Blue Seed, and Shaman King. Not sure how many episodes of each there are though.

Never seen blue seed or hellsing. I prolly get hellsing next. As for shaman king I'm reading the manga and rather finish reading it before seeing the show.

you might want to consider re-reading that sentence a few times, then stay *quiet* until *you* know what you are talking about, and in what language it should be said in! :p

I would consider anime it's own sub-culture. Like any other sub-culture that your not a part of, you can't possibly comprehend the thoughts of the people in it. It's like Gothics and the so-called "Thugs" and how they each don't understand why the other dresses the way the other does. Now if your a "thug" judging a gothic of course your opinions going to be biased like that because your not part of that sub-culture. So I respect that you don't like any anime, the way you judged it as only nerds watching it is probably because of whatever sub-culture your a part of. As do I think everyone should just not bother responding to any flames about anime and starting a flame war and understand that his opinion is based on whatever influences his sub-culture has on him.

I haven't seen much anime, but so far I've liked all of it... except Pokemon, which was frankly crap. I haven't seen DBZ, but I suspect I wouldn't particularly care for it either. However...

Noir all the way! It's nice and dark. =) Stellvia of the Universe is also good (so far, I've only seen the first 4 episodes). About the only other one I've seen is Read or Die, which is... weird... in a hilarious kind of way. There were a few others which I can't quite remember. And of course, if you're a Matrix fan you can't go past the Animatrix.

I remember the Manga series wasn't that big, but it should have converted to more then 28 episodes.
If you like that you should go through some of Akira Toriyama's work, he's great when it comes to that sort of humor, but he only seems to use it in the background.
If you like anime, I suggest going down your local DVD store and checking out the range.
Most people are against English translated anime, but most of it is good. It's only the translations you see on Cartoon Network where they take a MA15+ anime and aim it at 7 to 13 year olds.

I would think there would be more. I watched episodes 1-28 and it doesn't seem like a proper ending. Later on I'll watch Love Hina Again and see how it picks up. I'm not sure how big the Manga is but it was Awarded Best Manga, USA release for 2002 at the Anime Expo.

I saw the Animatrix. It was pretty good but without any character development it didn't really become soething to big to me. As for Noir I saw the first episode of it which came with a Newtype USA magazine some time ago. I've been thinking of downloading the series.

Blue Seed only has 28 episodes in it's first season... I think recently a second season came out in Japan... I don't know for sure, but I've heard about a second season of it somewhere...

Love Hina I haven't seen... I don't know, the name makes me kind of think it is a little overly perverted for some reason.

Animes I like:
Blue Seed
Hellsing (kind of freaky though)
Fooly Cooly (very very strange, but funny)
.hack//sign
Inuyasha
Blue Gender
Sonic X
Megaman.EXE (officially in the US it is Megaman:NT Warrior, and in Japan it is Rockman.EXE)
Silent Mobius
Soul Taker

and a few others...

back on topic of Love Hina... probably a better idea to buy it...
In response to Crispy
Pokemon... personally I kind of enjoy the games for some reason, but I hate the show... not sure why the game appeals to me... but for some reason it does... I kind of got red version before I saw the show, but not sure if that would have anything to do with it.

I've seen Fooly Cooly it is very funny and insane. .hack//sign I own some of the DVD's for it and it is a very good show I'm fying to get the next DVD for it. Inuyasha is one of the few fantasy anime's that I like. Blue Gender is pretty good but kinda depressing. Love Hina the manga has a bit of porn though everything is nipple free but as for the show the nudity is very few and small. I think I'll see what makes Blue Seed so popular.
