Alright after working with the Gootchi for awhile and thinking about stuff I decided to just go with a Tamagotchi clone.

It looks pretty bland right now, I know, I am just like expermenting.
I found like 4 or 5 Tama graphics on the web that look like they are directly from the Tamagotchi toy. If anyone knows where I can find more, let me know.
If I actully finish this, I'll have some sort of contest later to have someone design a new Tama.
Not sure if you solved your problem with earning money, but have the Gootchi get a job, the lazy bums. And maybe have the ability for the Gootchi to breed, combining certain features into the baby gootchi?
gootchi sounds perverted probably because it means something in spanish slang (not gonna mention) and used very frequently, it'll sound like a porn game to many people. I like that it sounds creative though, if you decide to change the name, keep it along the cretive lines like this one

Well I am a Amercian, and I don't care about other cultures or launages. That being said I don't care if it is some sort of slang in spanish.
And since the BYOND staff already know what I am doing and since I have been posting about it on the forums, most people should know it isn't a "porn game"
Besides, I don't mean to insult BYONDers, but a large portion of them are 15 years of age or younger. And I bet half of them wouldn't be using Gootchi as a curse word.
good job with the little previews, though the happy gootchi and pooping gootchi look a bit too similar... but i guess pooping can make you happy under the right circumstances!
Alright, believe it or not I just spent like the last 3 hours doing the first set of Gootchi, along with all their animations and even though they are not like, ANIMATED ANIMATED they took awhile to do.
I am going to release like the LCD grid work, and like.. the one of the Gootchi so people can make their own.
I was thinking it would be funny to make a Dan and Tom Gootchi.
Edit: Yes these are heivily influced from Tamagotchi.. oh well.
