Why is it that there are so many blogposts showcasing a base but no actual content? Why is the base being made before the game? And why is every base naked? Shoot, at least put a shirt and some pants on that dude.
Traits you can find in almost every blogpost showcasing a base.
1. Naked - Junieprior says, "You start with nothing and earn your clothes." Therefore, you should start naked. I'm sure your parents made you walk around naked until you earned it. No wait, they dressed you in adorable little outfits!
But wait! Aren't ninjas in Naruto like 8 - 10 years old? In Bleach, Ichigo was at least a teenager. You don't walk around naked in daylight at that time (or maybe you do, certainly not in my part of the United States). Put some clothes on your bases mates. It looks so much more attractive.
2. Disproportionate - Every base has this obnoxiously sized head, forgiveable, really. But the shoulders extend way beyond the waist. I guess we're all G.I. Joes? Have you ever seen a life size G.I. Joe? They're the ugliest men in the world. And really, abs? Not every guy in anime has a 6-pack. What's more, they're ugly.
3. "So now that the base is done, let's get some work done."
Why must the base be completed in order to actually start the game? The base isn't really important to the game. Shoot, I'd play a stick figure game if it were a quality game! A good game with terrible graphics is better than a bad game with good graphics.
What is the deal with these games? Seriously. Maybe I'm biased because I'm no pixel artist, not an art major; but why is the imaging being done BEFORE THE GAME ITSELF?! It's like those people who create websites before their game is complete. It doesn't make your game better.
