I was planning on watching the movie this weekend. A couple of my freinds were really stoked for the movie, they were raving about the story. They kept told me how good it was.

I looked online and saw how critically acclaimed the story is. Its the most popular graphic novel of all times.
So many people were telling me that its definitely worth reading and that it's better than mangas.
i didn't know if id agree with them but i thought if they thought it was so good and all the critics raved about it, might as well try it.

So, i download the graphic novel, there are 13 chapters 36 pages each.... around 400 pages.

I just finished the 2nd chapter and I can already declare... its awesomeness. I'm already Hooked. I like it because of its deep characters and i like art better since every page is colored


if you guys read manga, You'll definitely find this worth while.

Idk how the movie is gonna be but than again movies never really live up to the written versions.

Hi, well i recently got a membership. I've been wanting to introduce myself to everyone and well after silkwizards cool idea, i decided to make it a fusion of both.

So this is me saying hi and well some stuff about me. From school to politics to music to really random stuff. by the end i was just running out of ideas Lol.

1.I'm really into pixel art. oddly, Ive got no artist talent when it comes to paper and pencil.

2.I specialize in turfs and I'm loosely partnering up with guys from team evolution.

3.well anyways, I plan on going into mechanical engineering next year at NIU. I got accepted and I'm so excited for next year.

4.On that note, you probably guessed it but I'm a senior in high school.

5.oh just remembered a pretty cool story, i live in Illinois and a few years ago during a dinner at one of my uncles meetings for some random community thing (sorry i have no idea what it was). well anyways, i met and shoke hands with both of my senators, which was pretty cool than. But now that one of them got elected president, its one of my cooler memories.

6.I'm a politic junky. I love following them and well seeing how they work. I volunteered at some local campaigns and with the Obama Campaign before it became "the cool thing to do" (during the early primaries).

7.i got v.i.p tickets to his inauguration. Was even on TV for a 10 seconds.

8.If you were to measure me an generic political i guess you'd say Im a liberal. I believe in abortion, stem cell research, and equal right to even homosexuals. But i don't always part with democrats.

9.On to some of my hobbies, i love music. i listen a lot of bands and artist. I like a lot of genres from conscious rap to indie rock to raprock. just not a huge fan or rave or country. oh and one of the biggest fans of Lupe fiasco. meant him at a autograph signing last year and hes the most down to earth guy ever.

10.i own a zune and I'm a proud user. personally i believe that ZUNE>>ipods

11.Ive got a huge movie collection.

12.Even thought i grew in the U.S, i learned Spanish before English before we moved, i grew in a heavily Mexican neighborhood. playing at the parks with the kids, i picked up Spanish

13.Now comes the really ironic one..... Theres that one part of the brain that helps you learn languages, well some how that part of my brain... well.. is super weak. Ive taken 3 years of Spanish and well.. i can barely say the basics. I managed to get through the class with Cs or Ds by cheating and doing my homework. Calculus, Physics, English, its all easy. i guess Spanish is my kryptonite. I'm just hoping i don't have to deal with it next year.

14.Until very recently, i wasn't been able to tell time from a regular clock. XD wow thats sounds horrible but for the 2 week in 2nd grade that we went over this, i was at home with the chicken pox. My teacher never got around to teaching me and I'm horrible lazy. i just went around my childhood with a digital clock on my wrist.

15.Ever since i can remember Ive been a bears/football fan. i don't know why cause no one in my family is even a football fan. I'm such a football nerd its beyond comprehension. I make boards and sheets. I write down the pros and cons of all the the prospects and who goes up or down.

16.I'm a god at fantasy football. Over the last 4 years, Ive managed to get to the playoffs in all of my leagues. Last year, i won 2 out of the 4 leagues i was in.

17.Super lazy. I only work in moments of inspiration or when i have to. I'm trying really hard to break this habit.

18.My modo is ... Work pays off later, Procrastination pays off now. i use to mostly say that it was my modo cause its clever. it

19.I'm a goal-type of guy. i set up goals and obstacles and i try to achieve them

20.My new goal is trying to learn how to program but well i just don't know how to get started.

21.I'm taking Ap comp sci this year, its a introduction to Java. I just thought it would help me learn some programmers basics and i heard Java is a like a stepping stone as far as programming goes.

22.I'm really running out of ideas... Ive got strong legs. this sounds weird but oddly i do. In gym during out fitness unit, i found that out when i did massive amounts on the leg workouts. i wish strong every where else. I guess ill make a new goal for my self.

23.ahh I'm a nice guy.. wow im really running out of ideas. I volunteer at a lot of places and well overall a pretty nice guy.

24.this summer doing a service trip to Katrina. Excited for that. Also as a plus, there are 30 girls going and only 5 guys.

25.I'm a telemarketer in the summer. i work for my uncle and it pays really well. but don't worry i only call business.
